Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, spouse to the late
Bimbo Odukoya threw a lavish wedding ceremony for his daughter, Tolu
recently. The church wedding which took place at the Fountain of Life
Church was officiated by three clerics. While Bishop Mike Okonkwo joined
the couple together in holy matrimony, Rev. Wilson Badejo, a former
General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel church, delivered the homily
and Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God blessed
the union.
The wedding reception took place in
GRA, Lagos. Among dignitaries in attendance were Professor Bolaji
Akinyemi, who was the chairman of the occasion, the Lagos State First
Lady, Abimbola Fashola, former deputy governor of Lagos State, Sarah
Sosan, and Zinox chairman, Leo Stan Ekeh.
This would be the second wedding in the
Odukoya’s family after the death of Pastor Bimbo Odukoya in the 2006
Sosoliso air crash of 2006. The first was her husband’s remarriage to a
South African, Rosemary.
